"Coloring the Slices of Your Life"
rescues
Over the years I have supported animal rescues through the donation of my work to assist their efforts to raise much needed funds to rescue and protect our furry friends. I often receive requests from rescues to donate my art and I welcome new rescues to join my growing group of followers. Some of the rescues that I support are listed below. Click on the images below to go directly to their websites.
Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network
COL. POTTER CAIRN RESCUE NETWORK (CPCRN), is formed for the charitable purposes of rescuing purebred Cairn Terriers and Cairn Terrier mixes which are homeless or soon-to-be-homeless, including, without limitation, those found in animal shelters or similar facilities and those released by their owners due to change in family circumstances, as well as purebred Cairn Terriers and Cairn Terrier mixes which are being used as breeding stock by puppy mills.
Cairn Rescue USA
We are based in New York, and able to rescue Cairns nationwide. Our rescue Cairns come from animal shelters and humane societies; others are released to us by their owners due to changes in family circumstances, still others come from puppy mills where they have spent their lives in small wire cages producing the cute puppies that petstores sell.
Sir Hamish McTavish
Worldwide Westie Rescue
We are a small charitable organisation based in the UK who provide grants to rescue organisations throughout the world helping to care and support Westies in need of assistance. We raise money through donations, auctions of donated items and sales of handmade and donated items and book sales. All work is carried out by volunteers so all the money raised goes to rescued Westies.
ATCA Rescue and Adoption Committee
The ATCA Rescue & Adoption Committee maintains and updates a network of contacts across the country to aid in the re-homing of purebred Airedale Terriers who are lost or abandoned. Volunteers located in several states, as well as Canada, help Airedales in need, adopting them to permanent loving homes. The Goal of the Rescue Committee is to locate prompt and safe assistance for any purebred Airedale Terrier.
Southwest Airedale Terrier Rescue
Operation LBD
This website is a cooperative effort of volunteers living in Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. We are a small group of volunteers who came to know one another through one common interest - saving the lives of Airedale Terriers. Each volunteer is solely responsible for the Airedales under their control, but we network together to find the best home for each Airedale we rescue. Each of the Airedales we foster is spayed or neutered, brought up-to-date on appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped prior to being adopted.
Operation LBD was founded for the purpose of assisting Boykin Spaniels that are not being assisted by other agencies. Operation LBD is not associated with another rescue group or organization but partners with other Boykin Spaniel agencies to work toward assisting any LBD that needs our help. We are a 501c3 agency.
Boykin Spaniel Rescue, Inc.
CorgiAid, Inc
Boykin Spaniel Rescue, Inc. (BSR, Inc.) is an organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of unwanted or neglected purebred Boykin Spaniels. Each Boykin placed by BSR receives veterinary care and a temperament evaluation prior to placement in an adoptive home as well as being spayed or neutered. Based primarily in the southeastern USA, BSR, Inc. is growing into a national network of volunteers who regularly contact their area shelters and veterinarian offices for Boykins who need help.
CorgiAid is a nonprofit organization founded to provide financial assistance to corgis and corgi mixes. We help out those who rescue dogs from shelters or other non-permanent homes, then foster them until a new home is found. Medical and other expenses for these dogs can become high; CorgiAid gathers donations from those who want to help, and, within our funding guidelines, and gets funds to those rescuers who apply for help.
